Welcome to the Birch Parish Council website. The site has recently undergone a makeover and as such things tend to be a little bit creaky; if you encounter any problems just contact the webmaster using the details on the "contact us" page.
You can find Birch just south of Colchester in the county of Essex. The village centre is just off the B1022 Colchester to Maldon Road. Why not try one of our hospitable pubs, The Heckford Angel, The Hare and Hounds, or even the Birch Gallery & Tea Rooms. You can expect a warm welcome, as well as great food and drink.
Our aim is to make our village a great place to live, raise a family or retire to. We do however need your help in achieving these aims so, please get involved with your community. We hope you enjoy your visit to the site but if we have omitted subjects you would like to see included, please let the editor know by using the email link below and we will do our best to include your suggestions.
