BIRCH PARISH COUNCIL
has 7 Parish Councillors. They are: -
Cllr. Elaine Bowtle
Cllr. Doreen Willers
Cllr. Claire Cottrell
Cllr. Sandra Poulter
Cllr. James Bancroft
Cllr. John Nicholson
Cllr. Chris Harvey
Parish Councillors receive no
financial reward for representing the community. The only paid person is the
Parish Clerk (Mr. Alan Condron) who keeps the records of Parish Meetings,
handles all correspondence, implements the decisions taken by Parish Councillors
and prepares the accounts.
Some of your Councillors have
specific responsibilities and these are shown below.

Cllr. Bowtle has responsibility for Health and Village matters.

Cllr. Willers is the Parish Council representative on the Essex Association for
Local Councils and on the National Association.

Cllr. Poulter is our Emergency Officer.

Cllr. Bancroft is the Footpath Officer and First Reserve on EALC.
