Village Hall

Situated on the School hill with fields all around, the Birch Village hall has, over the last four years, had a major facelift.

The memorial hall now has a new kitchen and curtains, disabled toilets, a brand new car park and a variety of decorative flower beds.

The memorial hall is run by a small committee consisting of:

Mrs E Bowtle (Chairperson)

Mr K Hurley (Treasurer)

Mrs R Price (Secretary)

Mr J Harrison (Caretaker)

The Birch Parish Council own the land and memorial hall and this committee represent the council.

It's a great place for a children's party or that surprise bash. We do not, however, take bookings for teenage parties.

At present we have regular bookings for the Womens Institute, Birch & Tey Bowls Club, the Birch Get Together Club, the Birch Parish Council, Mother & Toddler Group, the British Shiatsu-Do group and the Gardening club.

Residents are entiteld to a reduced rate (see price list).

Volunteers are always needed to assist with the samll areas of flower beds, and this is greatly appreciated.

For bookings or more information please contact Mrs E. Bowtle on 01206 330 388.
